Each year, we at The Estate at Cherokee Dock meet over 200 newly engaged couples in the Nashville area with respect to their search for the best wedding venue. Because we know that every couple has a unique vision for their big day, it would be impossible for us to fit everyone’s style.

Looking for farmhouse vibes with a modern twist? 14TENN is the place for you! Located in the Historic Nations District, 14TENN was built in 1925 as part of the original Belle Meade Hosiery Mill. Today, they serve as a gorgeous all-white venue with expansive ceilings and exposed beams, a beautiful setting with a seated capacity of up to 200 guests. They also allow you to bring in your own vendors, giving you creative freedom to make your wedding into something uniquely designed with you in mind!
The Bell Tower
This historic church turned modern indoor event space boasts tons of natural light, exposed beams, and even an upper level mezzanine. They also have other amenities like a bridal lounge and state-of-the-art lighting and sound system. This venue has an in-house event planning and design company that you will work closely with as you turn your wedding dreams into reality. This is a great spot if you are in need of a large space that is practically in the heart of Downtown Nashville.
Schermerhorn Symphony Center
Only a few steps away from Broadway, is the Schermerhorn Symphony Center. Best known for delivering fantastic orchestral performances to Music City since 1946, it is also a marvelous venue to host an extraordinary wedding. With over ten different event spaces, you are sure to find the one that fits your every need. Country Music Hall Of Fame
You know this venue had to make the list! How could we talk about Nashville without mentioning country music? Located in the heart of downtown, the Country Music Hall of Fame is home to some of the most iconic memorabilia of the genre. While it doesn’t seem like your typical southern wedding venue, it won’t take but a moment inside to realize the endless possibilities it has to offer. Whether you choose their Music City Skyline, The Carlton Terrace, or any of the other spaces, you are sure to have an unforgettable time at the Country Music Hall of Fame. The Bridge Building Event Space
This historic building was originally constructed on the banks of the Cumberland River in 1908 as an office space for the NABRICO. After being renovated with modern necessities, they opened their doors as an event space in 2012. Being hailed as the “greenest” building in the world, this event space offers full-service event planning, floor-to-ceiling windows, rooftop/riverfront patios, stunning views of the Nashville Skyline, and so much more. CJ’s Off The Square
If you are looking for an intimate garden setting for your wedding, you NEED to check out CJ’s Off The Square! Around 15 years ago, CJ Dickson decided to open one of the very first all-inclusive venues here in Nashville after planning her very own wedding in 2004. Ceremonies are held in the most lush, Southern garden you’ll ever lay your eyes on. Once the ceremony ends, you and your 135 guests will head over to the Pavilion for reception. Union Station Hotel
Union Station is not your average downtown hotel. Recently celebrating its 120th anniversary, this magnificent venue possess all the historical significance and grandeur you would expect. From the wonderfully designed architecture, to the beautifully curated interiors, this Nashville wedding venue is truly in the heart of downtown. The luxury hotel is perfect for couples looking for a destination wedding where gusts can all stay close by, while also exploring Broadway and everything else Music City has to offer.
The Hermitage Hotel
The Hermitage Hotel offers a combination of timeless style and distinctive architecture all under one roof. In 1908 construction began on this gorgeous 10 story building, and became Nashville’s first million-dollar hotel. They have spaces that can accommodate smaller, more intimate weddings in the Veranda, as well as space for a larger gathering in the Grand Ballroom. Constructed in 1926 and renovated in 2013, Arrington Vineyards have been performing weddings for over forty years! The vineyards here offer a unique setting unlike anywhere else in the mid-state. As you step onto the 75-acre property you are sure to be swept away by its beauty. The West Lawn provides multiple opportunities to capture some stunning sunset photos. Head over to the Stone House and find a lovely Bridal Suite and Grooms’ Lounge for both parties to prepare and relax before exchanging vows. The Barn at Sycamore Farms
7 minutes away from Arrington Vineyards, the Barn at Sycamore Farms sits on 28 acres of secluded Tennessee countryside just 30 minutes south of Nashville. Their elegant barn is a highly sought after commodity that can accommodate up to 400 guests. A unique feature of this location is the 9,000 sq. ft. ceremony and cocktail space dubbed The Island. It provides some fantastic picture taking opportunities, that includes a 100 year old sycamore tree for which the venue is named for. Just 25 miles south of Nashville in Franklin, TN, is the lovely Graystone Quarry. What was previously an abandoned and forgotten piece of land, was transformed into a luxury locale with unforgettable scenery. Their Hillside Pavilion is the perfect place to say “I Do” any time of the year. After the ceremony, your guests will head over to the Gathering Hall which is described as “the perfect refined rustic location.” Graystone Quarry provides everything you need to craft an ideal wedding. Saddle Woods Farm
Nestled between Franklin and Murfreesboro, you will find the family owned and operated Saddle Woods Farm. The LeGates began the construction of this gorgeous venue in 2014. If you are looking to find a venue with that classic Southern charm, well then look no further! Alongside their field of retired show horses, this property boasts 25 private acres with the most stunning cedar wood barn you will ever see. If you are after that classic Southern charm, then look no further! This is the place for you.
Fiddle Dee Farms
Take a quick trip about 30 minutes north of Nashville and you’ll stumble upon this stunning 58 acre family farm in Greenbrier. What began as a community hotspot for fall activities has transformed into one of middle Tennessee’s most lovely venues. With the recent completion of the elegant barn as the centerpiece of the property, you are sure to capture your special day in the most amazing way. If the exterior isn’t enough, then as soon as you step through the doors and see the amazing craftsmanship, sky scraping ceilings, and meet the friendly staff you are sure to be swept off your feet.

While we are on the subject of farm style venues, let’s head about 30 minutes east of Nashville to Lebanon, TN. What was originally known as Jennings Infirmary during the Civil War, new life was breathed into this estate after being transformed into Legacy Farms in 2010. Legacy Farms is an all-inclusive venue, so you can just kick back, relax, and enjoy your big day. A unique aspect of this location is the overnight option. You and up to 20 guests can stay after your reception to keep the party going! You won’t find this option at many venues around Nashville. It is quite the experience!
Tucker’s Gap Event Center
The Tucker’s Gap Event Center is a Southern stunner located right outside of Nashville in Lebanon, Tennessee. The property has a gorgeous wooden structure lined in Tennessee cedar siding, a large structure that can accommodate large parties. The real beauty is their Bridal Suite, equipped with crystal chandeliers, full length mirrors, makeup counters, and private dressing areas. Tucked away in Cheatham County lies a 153-year-old home turned wedding venue. This property offers an on-site Bridal Suite with a bathroom, fireplace, and balcony access. They also have “Groom’s Cabin” where they can accommodate up to 12 guests. The Adalea offers a list of preferred vendors for you to choose from, but you are also able to bring in your own if you choose to do so. We’ve talked farms, barns, and even quarries, so what else does Nashville have to offer? Historic mansions are beautiful places to tie the knot, and Riverwood Mansion is no exception. As one of Nashville’s oldest estates, Riverwood Mansion was constructed in the late 1790s and has been hosting fairy tale weddings since 1997. Conveniently located just 15 minutes from downtown in East Nashville, Riverwood provides a sense of southern charm and classic romance which seems to be harder and harder to find these days.
Ravenswood Mansion is another historic home that is rich with history. If you’re a history buff, you should check out the stories behind this wonderful Antebellum mansion. Situated on 400 acres in Brentwood about 30 minutes south of Nashvillle, you are sure to find the perfect spot to say “I do” here. The budget friendly venue fee, and open vendor policy allows you to craft the wedding you have always envisioned. We all know and love Cheekwood Estates and Gardens! How could you not? The property exudes some of the most unique botanical gardens alongside the Historic Mansion & Museum Nashville has to offer. Weddings in the spring and summer time host the perfect backdrop for your fairytale wedding. Their wedding rental even includes a membership to Cheekwood! Belle Meade Plantation
The historic Belle Meade Plantation has been a non-profit organization since 1953. This beautiful venue provides not only the backdrop of a historic mansion built in 1853, but also the most stunning grounds and serene gardens for your guests to enjoy. Belle Meade offers a little bit of everything; indoor barn space, a cocktail hour filled with lawn games, outdoor ceremony space, and even a tent! This late-1800s Victorian style space creates an elegant backdrop for you and your guests. Their couples get full access to the property on the day of your wedding, so no one else will have access on your big day. The Saint Elle
Maybe mansions, farms, and barns aren’t your thing? No problem! Saint Elle provides a modern vibe and is owned by the same group of entrepreneurs as the Cordelle, so you know you’re in good hands. Located 2 miles south of Broadway in the flourishing neighborhood of Wedgewood Houston, you’ll find one of Nashville’s newest venues. If having a nice bar is high on your checklist, you need to check out their five different tiers of bar service. It really is a whole different feel here, so check out the space and be one of the first to have your wedding here!
Originally constructed in 1899, Clementine Hall was a central structure in the planning of old West Nashville. After being carefully restored, this building possesses a modern charm while still maintaining subtle reminders of the building’s humble beginnings. Take a quick peek inside and you will find high ceilings, heart pine floors, and wide open space. Their open vendor policy allows you to craft every aspect of your day to your exact vision. With capacity from 50 to 500, the Clementine is a perfect space for all wedding sizes!
Yes, you read that right, the Parthenon! No, not in Greece, but rather the exact replica in Centennial Park on the west side of Nashville. Constructed in 1897, this is a full scale, like for like copy of the original Parthenon in Athens. This is a beautiful place to visit if you are ever in town, and it has also been the location of some really extravagant weddings. Since they are not technically a wedding venue, a lot of the work will fall on your shoulders. Hiring a full time wedding planner is a must!
