Caitlin & Tyler’s Modern Eclectic Wedding

Caitlin and Tyler celebrated their love with a modern yet eclectic wedding ceremony and reception at our Lakeview Event Center in July 2021.

The couple was originally set to get married on New Year’s Eve, but it was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Despite the change of date, Modern Vintage Events helped bring the wow factor of a New Year’s wedding into the summer, describing the vibe as moody and fun. And we couldn’t agree more!

Caitlin and Tyler said “I do” with an outdoor ceremony on our covered patio, which was decorated with candles and greenery down the aisle, hanging strands of fairy lights above, and a dramatic boho floral arrangement that served as the backdrop. 

After the newlyweds said their vows, guests mingled over cocktails at The Stables and Cobblestone Court before dinner began inside our Lakeview Event Center.

The room was set with crisp white linens, modern black dishes and chairs to match, candles, and a mix of small bud vases with boho-inspired arrangements. Caitlin and Tyler also created a festive and moody sweetheart table featuring their newly-shared last name in neon lights and abundant boho floral arrangements.

But the star of the show was the installation over the dance floor, which featured an array of large tropical leaves, hanging white flowers, and sparkling disco balls in various sizes!

Guests were treated to a plated dinner of sage-crusted chicken and Jack Daniel’s braised short ribs with rosemary roasted potatoes and green bean amandine. Instead of a traditional wedding cake, the couple opted for an array of dessert shooters. Flavors included banana pudding, raspberry cheesecake, and peanut butter bomb.

And after a night of dancing and celebrating Caitlin and Tyler’s love, everyone snacked on cheeseburger sliders and smoked gouda Mac and cheese before sending the couple off.

In lieu of wedding favors, the newlyweds made donations in their guests' honor to four different foundations.
