Country music couple Hannah Ellis and Nick Wayne Richardson celebrated their love with a romantic and whimsical wedding ceremony and reception in May 2021 at the Estate.
The couple started dating seven and a half years ago while living across the hall from one another in their downtown Nashville apartments. They bonded over singing and songwriting and eventually got engaged in June 2020. And just before the wedding, Nick released a romantic EP titled “To Hannah.” It consists of love songs written to Hannah throughout their relationship! Hannah told People she dreamt of having an outdoor wedding her entire life. When they saw the backyard overlooking the water at Cherokee Dock, they knew it was the perfect place.
Hannah wore a beautiful detailed Rue De Seine gown from the Dress Theory in Nashville, while Nick wore a custom tux from Richard’s Bespoke, created with meaningful old school golf details on the interior. Both wore jewelry and accessories from Siebke Hoyt Jewelers in Iowa, a recommendation from friend Tim Tebow.
After the beautiful ceremony on our Lakeside Lawn, where they were married by Hannah’s hometown preacher, guests gathered for a cocktail hour with a large charcuterie grazing table created by Nashville's Cheese Gal, Cortney Lacorte. The couple also had oysters flown in from 401 Oyster Co. in Rhode Island!
After mingling over light bites and cocktails, guests moved to the beautiful Lakeview Event Center for the reception and a seated dinner. The tables were decorated with whimsical and romantic floral arrangements, tall candles and greenery lined the king's table, and Hannah incorporated touches of lavender in the napkins and florals to tie it all in.
We love that the couple had their favorite meal, pizza, as the main course. They offered a variety of options, even a signature pizza called “The Richardson” with red sauce, fresh moz, pepperoni, jalapenos, and chile-infused honey!
After an amazing evening of celebrating with their loved ones, Hannah and Nick jetted off to Cabo for a relaxing honeymoon.
