Kristen & Justin’s Elegant Minimalist Wedding

Kristen and Justin had an elegant outdoor wedding ceremony under our Willow Oak Canopy followed by a beautiful tented reception filled with classic details and sparkling lights wrapped in greenery.

The couple met in 2007 at a hometown high school basketball game. Justin was heading off to college, while Kristen was getting ready for her senior year. They went their separate ways, but life always had a way of bringing them back together! Justin jokingly claims he was “friend-zoned for 9 years.” After some long distance and Justin’s move to Nashville to be near Kristen, he popped the question on the rooftop of his apartment while "Simply the Best," the cover done by Noah Reid, played lightly in the background.

On their big day, the soon-to-be newlyweds shared an intimate first look in front of the mansion. Kristen stunned in an all-lace gown with a matching lace veil, while Justin looked sharp in a classic black tuxedo. 

Kristen and Justin were surrounded by a wedding party of friends who have been there since the beginning of their love story. Her bridesmaids donned airy champagne-colored gowns in assorted styles, all complemented by natural bouquets of greenery and white roses. The guys sported matching classic black tuxedos and white boutonnieres. 

The ceremony was held under our Willow Oak Canopy with an arch that tied into the setting very organically with a dark wooden beam, greenery, and pops of bright white roses. 

After the “I dos,” guests moved to the Sunset Terrace for a bright, classic, and minimalist tented reception. With the help of Velour Events and Echoes of Eden, our space was transformed with elegant greenery and sparkling string lighting. The tables were adorned with white linens, white roses, and greenery in gold vases— all tied together with classic wooden cross-back chairs.

One of the best parts of the night was when Kristen and Justin shared a last dance alone at the end of the evening. It was a beautiful ending to a beautiful day!
